Extension of EurekaBuild
Led by ECTP since June 2006, the umbrella was supposed to be over on May 2009. Following a request presented to the EUREKA Secretariat, the duration of EurekaBuild has been extended till December 2009. - February 24, 2009
3rd EurekaBuild Newsletter published
The third EurekaBuild newsletter gives an overview of the 7 projects that have already received the Eureka Label under the EurekaBuild flag as well as last activities undertaken within the project: organised workshops, event announcements and more. - February 6, 2009
Next EurekaBuild TC meeting
The 5th EurekaBuild TC meeting will take place in Lord Hotel in Warsaw, Poland on February 12, 2009. Main topics of the meeting will be: review of EurekaBuild results, future of EurekaBuild and preparation, status of ECTP/E2B/Eracobuild, etc. - December 1, 2008
EurekaBuild projects
Already 9 projects have received the Eureka Label under the EurekaBuild flag. They are: SULABU, RELAXHOME, POLYWALL, WASTEHEATCONCRETE, FLOATEC, GEOSUITE2, BWSN, STABCON and NANOCRETE. Details of above mentioned projects can be found at the EurekaBuild Projects webpage. - November 13, 2008
Eureka Inter-Umbrella meeting
Svein Willy Danielsen (SINTEF) represented EurekaBuild at the yearly Eureka Inter-Umbrella meeting which took place in Eureka Secretariat Offices in Brussels on November 13, 2008. At this meeting the status of Umbrellas in Eureka was discussed: new position of Umbrellas (Umbrellas in or out Eureka or status-quo, more active role of Umbrellas in pre-evaluating ideas/projects, more active role in partner-brokering, etc). - October 10, 2008
Next EurekaBuild SC meeting announced
On October 29, 2008 (afternoon from 13:00 until around 17:00) a mixed meeting reserved to the EurekaBuild SC Members and the NTPs Representatives will take place. The objective of this meeting will be essentially: to exchange on the ECTP current status; to define an action plan for the Network of NTPs and EurekaBuild in 2009; to start the participation of NTPs in the updating of the ECTP SRA-IAP (Roadmap) to be ready by mid-2009. - October 10, 2008
Details on UK EurekaBuild event announced
The EurekaBuild workshop and Brokerage event "ICT & Automation - Energy & Resource Efficient products and processes" is going to be organised in Birmingham, UK on 28-29 October 2008. The workshop will focus on 2 topics of high interest for the UK NTP: Information Communication Technologies and Automation (ICT&A) and Reduced Resource Consumption (RRC).

Croatian Construction Technology Platform invites you to the International Conference and EurekaBuild Workshop: "Networks for sustainable environment and high quality of life" that is going to be organised in Dubrovnik, Croatia, on 23-25 May 2008. The topics include design innovations, new materials, construction, maintenance, safety, security, environmental impact and management of networks, focusing, but not limited to transport networks: roads, railways, waterways, bridges, tunnels and canals.

Details on Vilnius EurekaBuild event announced
On April 24, 2008, during the 15th International Specialized Exhibition on Construction and Renovation "RESTA" in Lithuanian Exhibition Centre LITEXPO (Laisves Ave. 5, Vilnius) the conference "Energy Efficiency in Buildings. Brokerage of Project Ideas" will be organised in Vilnius, Lithuania. During the conference the best examples of energy efficiency practice in buildings in Europe, the models of rational use of energy in renovation and new construction, the possibilities of utilization of renewable energy resources, future energy technologies and models in the context of sustainable development, the formation of new approach in construction market (promotion of green public procurement) will be discussed.

Report on Athens EurekaBuild event added to the website
EurekaBuild event "Towards a sustainable Built Environment and a Living Cultural Heritage" was held on May 21, 2007 in Athens, and was organized by Hellenic National Technology Platform. The event was attended by more than 130 participants. 27 project ideas were presented, focusing on sustainable built environment and living cultural heritage resulting in 8 proposals by potential consortia.

Full report on EurekaBuild event on "ICT and New Integrated Processes" available
The second EurekaBuild workshop and brokerage event was organized by Norwegian Construction Technology Platform in close cooperation with Innovation Norway, Nordic Innovation Centre, ECTP FA#7 (Processes and ICT) and the National Technology Platforms in other Nordic countries. 42 participants from 11 countries were attending the event. Several keynote lectures presented initiatives and opportunities for innovation projects, as well as individual projects. The brokerage event included discussion of participants' project ideas. EurekaBuild presented at the Aqua Terra 2007 - World Forum on Delta & Coastal Development
The international event "Aqua Terra 2007" was held in Amsterdam from 7-9 February. 600 people from the Delta and Coastal Development sector were attending this event. Presentation on "EurekaBuild - a new innovation program for (water) construction" was delivered by Benno Koehorst, Dutch NUP from Rijskwaterstaat of the Netherlands. In addition to a general introduction of Eureka and EurekaBuild the innovation needs from the Dutch Room for the River project (2.5 billion euro) were presented. - February 22, 2007

EurekaBuild presented at the 2nd General Assembly of European Technology Platform on Industrial Safety
The 2nd General Assembly of European Technology Platform on Industrial Safety took place on February 13, 2007 in Stuttgart, Germany. Presentation "Experience of EurekaBuild: How to use the EUREKA programme to support the implementation of the Strategic Research Agenda" was delivered by Jelena Bleiziffer, Croatian NUS and EurekaBuild Technical Committee member. Agenda and all the presentations held at this event are available online.
