The next SmartBuilt4EU workshop will take place on May 5 from 13.00 to 15.00 to launch the final topics to be investigated by the four Task Forces. The Task Forces have been busy in the past months to collectively identify the main barriers, drivers and R&I challenges related to: Occupant-centric building for enhanced quality of life, Optimised building costs, Smart buildings as enabler of new energy practices and communities, and Data governance and cybersecurity.

This workshop will launch the brainstorming on the four next topics to be investigated by the task forces:

• Task Force 1: Responsive end-user: Tools and strategies to give operational feedback to the end-user (vs awareness) leading to behavioural changes
• Task Force 2: Smartness to reduce building’s environmental impacts: Resource efficiency; Environmental impact management; Integration of renewable energies
• Task Force 3: Data driven indicators for smart  buildings: Smart Readiness indicator; Data driven methods; Use of real-time performance data
• Task Force 4: Education & upskilling: Integration of IT & user-centric dimensions in curricula of academic and vocational education; support to the digitalisation of the construction sector.
