
The 10th ECTP Conference took place at the Thon Hotel Bristol Stephanie in Brussels on 5-6 March 2024. The event celebrated the 20th anniversary of ECTP, with the moto "ECTP @ 20. Two decades shaping a smart and green built environment".
It revealed to be a great success with more than 170 attendees (list here) from the whole construction value-chain sharing their experience and representatives of the European Commission informing the attendees about the latest policy development related to the sector. The conference outlined how the EU Construction Industry is at the heart of the Built Environment green and digital transitions.
OBJECTIVES OF THE CONFERENCE
- Highlight and advance future perspectives and priorities in R&I in the construction and Built environment sector
- Inform about the state-of-play of key European initiatives in the domain – e.g. the SET-Plan and the Co-programmed Partnership Built4People
- Share the revisited Strategic Research Agenda (SRIA) of the ECTP
- Share vision and discuss cross-cutting issues and potential synergies with organizations and domains connected to the construction and Built environment sector
