The IM-SAFE consortium cordially invites you to take part in the Pan-European Community of Practice and join its online symposium on 24 February 2022 from 13:00 to 16:00 CET. The theme for this symposium is: 'Digitalisation in the future European standardisation for inspection, monitoring and maintenance of transport infrastructures’.
 
The EU-project IM-SAFE is paving the road towards the improvement of maintenance policies for the European transport infrastructure. The main goal of this project is to support the preparation of the mandate for CEN in monitoring, safety assessment and risk evaluation for transport infrastructure.
 
Proposing new standards for diagnostics and safety evaluation of infrastructure is also targeting the collection, use and management of digital data. On the 24th of February, best practice examples, project outcomes and panel discussions will be presented on the topics of:

• Smart sensing and imaging;
• Artificial intelligence and cloud-based platforms;
• Data interoperability.

 
During the online symposium, input from the participants is welcome (schedule available here).
Participation is free-of-charge, but prior registration is required before the 17th of February. The registration link is available via the project website. Questions or input beforehand can be shared at the online registration form.
