SHAPE-EU 1st training webinar "Renovation of social housing at district level", 12 April 2023 (online)

The European Affordable Housing Consortium, SHAPE-EU, is glad to invite you to its first training webinar on the renovation of social housing at district level that will take place on Wednesday 12 April 2023 in 2 sessions:

In the morning, GNE Finance will introduce participants to the financing of large renovation programmes of private affordable housing while in the second half of the day, Energy Cities will focus on how to introduce social innovation in renovation.

Private housing renovation: large renovation programme financing

Financial institutions are developing more programmes to promote the renovation of private residential dwellings, including providing project development services. In this webinar, we will analyse the experience of these institutions and focus on their advantages and drawbacks.

Renovation of affordable and social housing districts: social innovation

How to optimise the engagement and strengthen the position of the local community in energy renovation projects at district level? TU Delft is developing a “social innovation blueprint”, guidelines for actors involved in such renovation projects.
Then participants will have the chance to hear the testimony of the Progetto Energheia initiative that renovated several condominiums in the Turin area, Italy, both improving the energy efficiency of buildings and creating energy communities for their inhabitants.
