ECTP has issued a Joint Statement titled "The Construction sector – a competitiveness asset for Europe", co-signed by ECCREDI, ENBRI, ENCORD, FIEC, HOUSING EUROPE & WGBC. 

The statement includes policy proposals for a strong Research & Innovation Framework for the Construction Sector in the upcoming period, and stresses the need to:

• Accelerate the market uptake (valorisation/upscaling) of research results 
• Streamline and consolidate different funding instruments
• Increase synergies with strategic sectors.
