Age-friendly housing in the context of the COVID-19 crisis
The ‘Stay At Home’ motto shared all over the world to help contain the spread of COVID-19 brought back housing to the centre of attention. The situation showed the need to shift from residential care to home/community care, and reaffirmed the need for quality and resilient housing that can adapt as people’s needs evolve with age. In this context, the Homes4Life project is more relevant than ever. The webinar will focus on this topic and will cover questions such as:
- What has changed since COVID-19 in the way we see housing?
- What does age-friendly housing have to offer?
- Why do care providers care about housing?
- What does it take to implement an age-friendly approach to housing?
