Public consultation Digital Product Passport (DPP)
In the context of the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation, the Digital Product Passport (DPP) has been introduced as a tool to provide easy access to digital information on products’ sustainability, circularity and legal compliance. The Commission intends to adopt a delegated act laying down rules on the operation of DPP service providers, an essential component of the wider DPP governance. It is now gathering stakeholders’ views to give them an opportunity to comment on the planned options to solve the identified problems and provide input on any further issues to consider when developing this legislative initiative.
The consultation open until 1 July 2025 is accessible here.
Additional information on the initiative can be found here.
