The main goal of SCORES was to combine and optimize the multi-energy generation, storage and consumption of local renewable energy (electricity and heat) and grid supply, bringing new sources of flexibility to the grid, and enabling reliable operation with a positive business case in Europe’s building stock.

The project started in November 2017 and was expected to last for 48 months finishing in October 2021. However, due to the global pandemic, the project’s length was extended by 6 months, so it was completed in April 2022. The SCORES project gathered 12 partners from 7 European countries.
