SmartBuilt4EU - Launch of the website & registration for the SBIC

The SmartBuilt4EU (SB4EU) project's main objective is to consolidate and support the Smart Building Innovation Community (SBIC), so as to release the full power of smart building technologies and to remove the last barriers slowing down the improvement of the energy performance of buildings.

The SB4EU website ( has now been launched. It provides information on:

  • Task forces to investigate opportunities and barriers to the uptake of smart buildings
  • Webinars and events to exchange on EU innovations and good practices
  • Tools to foster the deployment of the Smart Readiness Indicator
  • The future elaboration of a Strategic Research & Innovation Agenda
  • The project publications, including the first issue of the brochure advertising a selection of relevant EU-funded projects related to Smart Buildings available here.
