The next Young Energy Researchers Conference will be held on 2-3 March 2022 in Wels/Austria in the context of the World Sustainable Energy Days 2022 – a leading annual conference on the energy transition and climate neutrality!
 
Dedicated to the next generation of professionals and experts, two conference tracks present the work and achievements of young researchers in the fields of biomass and energy efficiency. The event offers the opportunity to interact with researchers and industry experts from all over the world and to build-up a peer network! At the World Sustainable Energy Days, more than 100 speakers from all over the world offer insights into technology and market trends, policy updates, and new business and financing models. In addition, technical site-visits and a major tradeshow presents real-life solutions. Meet the entire energy efficiency community and enjoy Austrian hospitality!
 
Call for papers – deadline: 12 October 2021
Young researchers (born after 1986) are invited to submit contributions by 12 October 2021 using the online form. Submissions are welcome from all scientific fields. A high-level scientific committee selects papers for oral and poster presentation.
 
Awards "Best Young Energy Efficiency Researcher" and "Best Young Biomass Researcher"
The best contributions are honoured with the "Best Young Biomass Researcher" and "Best Young Energy Efficiency Researcher" awards. The researchers receive 1,000 Euros each as prize money.
